The first two rounds of game-play will teach you and your friends how to play Color Words: Expert Mode. They are simple, so consider them a tutorial, and practice for the true test; Color Words Expert Mode. Color Match - Select the button that matches the color of the word, not what the word says. Choose the appropriate button below that is the same as the color that the word is displayed in. To accomplish this it might be best to not actually read the word that is displayed, but simply look a the color itself. Word Match - Select the button that matches the color the word says, not the color it appears in. Choose the appropriate button below that is the same as the word that is presented before you. To accomplish this goal read the word and disregard the color that the word is displayed in. Expert Mode - Match the word or color depending on what the game tells you at the top of the screen. This mode will surely boggle your mind and leave you questioning your brain age. To master this mode you must switch your brain from one style of thinking to another. Color match mode is a "right-brained" activity. People that are described as right brained are thought to be more intuitive, thoughtful and subjective. Word match mode is a "left-brained" activity. People with a stronger left brain are said to be more logical, analytical and objective. Color words expert mode game play will test you and your friends ability to switch from one side of brain (one style of thinking) to another in a decreasingly shorter span of time. Both hemispheres of the brain must contribute to win each round and receive a thumbs up. The time allotted within each puzzle will get shorter and shorter each round.
